Fact: Pierre Ouelette (the “other” Quebecer), had a glass eye. He lost his real eye in a shooting accident as a kid. This oneeyedness was the inspiration for his Jean-Pierre Lafitte pirate gimmick.
His real name is Carl, but WWF execs thought it wasn’t French enough and changed it to Pierre. Pierre is also Pat Patterson’s real name.
He is not related to Maryse.
